The Franklin Group (Mexico City):

As Development Advisor/Supervisor/Manager to this Mexico-based Development Group since 2006, Development Supervisor/Co-Development Manager for the 56-key, $44.0 million, boutique Hotel Americano on West 27th Street, adjacent to the High Line Park, in Manhattan.

• Advised the client throughout the Development deal formation, and supervised this project from initial planning through to completion of construction, moving from Development Supervision to a more active role as co-Development Manager to assist the first-time developer in completing the project.
• Played a primary role of the workout strategy when the lending institution failed and was taken over by another during the economic crisis, raising additional capital and working with the new lender to approve continuation of the construction loan at the same terms, with a 3-year extension.
• Feasibility and Investment Analyses of four additional hotel properties in Manhattan.
